From the first call to the finished glass, here’s how a job goes.
We usually come see the property in person and set a time that works for you. If your home is a long drive out, we can often handle the quote over the phone instead.
We walk the property with you, count the windows, note any storm windows and skylights, flag heavy salt film or hard-water spotting, and point out anything else worth knowing.
We type the quote up in our system and send it by email and text, often the same visit. Once you approve it, booking and reminders run through Markate.
We start outside: set up the water-fed pole and purified-water system, scrub the frame, clean the glass, clean the exposed track, and rinse until the glass is clear of film and debris. Inside, we use a soap solution, scrub, squeegee, detail the edges, and wipe down the frame and sill. Antique and stained glass gets cleaned by hand. On the salt-facing side we give the tracks an extra flush, since that is where buildup collects most.
Before we pack up, we walk the finished glass with you so you can look it over while the crew is still on site. Anything you want a second pass on, we take care of right then.
